An exhibition honoring Peru, and the city of Lima, host of the 45th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank, presented folk objects and crafts various regions of Peru in which tradition has evolved within age-old artistic expressions. The exhibit also included objects that reflect recent innovations introduced by artisans and entrepreneurs with the idea of making such expressions economically sustainable. The exhibition was organized and curated by the IDB Cultural Center, with the participation of the Museum of the Central Bank of Peru.
Una exposición en honor Perú y la ciudad de Lima, sede de la 45 ª Reunión Anual de la Asamblea de Gobernadores del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, presentado objetos folclóricos y artesanías diversas regiones del Perú, en el que la tradición ha evolucionado dentro de las antiguas expresiones artísticas. La exhibición también incluye objetos que reflejan las recientes innovaciones introducidas por los artesanos y empresarios con la idea de hacer tales expresiones económicamente sostenibles. La exposición fue organizada y curada por el Centro Cultural del BID, con la participación del Museo del Banco Central del Perú.
