This third edition of Investing in Gender Equality presents IDB projects that exemplify good work in the integration of gender considerations in their design. The 18 projects included in this edition have been identified through a system that ranks projects according to how comprehensively gender issues have been incorporated in their design. These projects achieved the highest rankings of a total of 146 projects approved by the Board between 2002 and 2003.
 
La tercera edición de Invirtiendo en igualdad de género presenta algunos proyectos del BID que constituyen buenos ejemplos en la integración de temas de género en sus diseños. Los 18 proyectos incluidos en esta edición han sido identificados de acuerdo a un sistema que ordena los documentos de proyecto según la manera en que integran los temas de género. Estos proyectos han recibido las calificaciones mas altas entre los 146 proyectos aprobados por el Directorio Ejecutivo entre 2002 y 2003.
