| dc.description.abstract | Within an authoritarian context and in the face of the a worsen deterioration of democratic conditions and freedoms in Venezuela, it is necessary to understand and strengthen the methods for working, strategies, resilience and their way for overcoming obstacles of the Venezuelan civil society organizations dedicated to the defense of human rights. Through this, it will be possible to support and reinforce their good practices and understand the opportunities for improvement, their challenges and realities, both nationally and internationally. Framed into an analysis of historical context, current situation and comparative samples, this paper presents a synthesis of the realities faced by these organizations, and offers perspectives from the Venezuelan example on resilience before unfavorable conditions in authoritarian contexts with a view of those organization to act as agents of democratic change, deploying three main strategies: i) learning from past practices; ii) creating strong resilience networks; and iii) establishing links with international allies. | es_ES |
